As a Security Officer Transit Platform Unarmed in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors. This role offers the opportunity to contribute through teamwork, clear communication, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, assist with crowd management during peak travel periods or special events, and provide directions or general information to the public.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
