Contract: 18-24 months duration
ASI is seeking a Drawing Remediation Engineer to lead the systematic review, redline markup, and formal revision of engineering drawings across utility and facility systems at the Kenosha County site. The site's drawing library reflects the client's acquired legacy pharmaceutical standards and requires structured remediation to achieve as-built accuracy and QS/GQS compliance before Phase 2 acceptance and Phase 3 scope transfer.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive review of existing P&IDs, mechanical drawings, architectural drawings, and associated documentation against current as-built site conditions
• Perform field walks to verify drawing accuracy and document discrepancies
• Execute redline markups and coordinate formal drawing revisions through document control
• Prioritize drawing remediation sequences based on Phase 2 system boundaries and regulatory risk
• Coordinate with Automation, Utilities, and Facilities engineers to ensure cross-discipline drawing consistency
• Manage drawing revision packages through GMP document control (Veeva/MasterControl) in coordination with the Engineering Technical Writer
• Track drawing remediation status and report progress against milestones in Smartsheet or equivalent
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• 3-7+ years of engineering experience with a focus on engineering drawing development and management in pharmaceutical, biotech, or industrial facilities
• Strong proficiency in P&ID interpretation and revision; familiarity with ISA standards
• Experience conducting field walk downs and as-built verification activities
• Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SmartPlant P&ID, or equivalent) for drawing revision
• Understanding of GMP documentation control principles
Preferred Qualifications
• Background in pharmaceutical or biotech capital project engineering (DQ/IQ-level documentation)
• Familiarity with large-pharma drawing standards and naming conventions
• Experience managing high-volume drawing remediation programs
• Exposure to Veeva QualityDocs or MasterControl
