Job description

Our client is seeking a senior commercial leader to build and scale a high-performing hospital sales

organization for a diagnostics specialty pathology laboratory with a promising portfolio of

innovative AI and IT-enabled healthcare products and services.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Commercial Officer will lead the companyโ€™s commercial

strategy across sales, marketing, market access, partnerships, and customer success. This

executive will play a critical role in expanding routine laboratory services within large hospital

systems while bringing new AI/IT solutions to healthcare networks and payer organizations.

What This Leader Will Do

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for laboratory services and emerging healthcare technology offerings.

  • Own revenue growth, P&L performance, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and business development.

  • Navigate complex U.S. reimbursement, payer, regulatory, and healthcare network dynamics.

  • Recruit, lead, and scale sales, marketing, and customer success teams in a fast-moving growth environment.

  • Partner closely with product and R&D teams to ensure market feedback shapes product development and commercialization priorities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10 years of senior commercial leadership experience in healthcare, biotech, diagnostics, laboratory services, or medical devices.

  • Demonstrated success scaling commercial organizations, launching new healthcare products, and delivering measurable revenue growth.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare sales compliance, reimbursement, market access, and clinical laboratory services.

  • Experience selling into hospitals, large health systems, healthcare networks, and/or payer organizations.

Compensation Highlights

The role offers a $250,000 base salary plus uncapped performance-based incentives tied directly

to revenue growth and commercial success. High-performing executives may earn $750,000

annually, with exceptional growth scenarios offering potential total compensation above $1

million, including long-term incentives and equity participation.
