We are actively searching for aSpecialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representativeto deliver on our commitment toservepatients. The Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative acts as the primary customer contact andis responsible forimplementing marketingstrategyand promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

The Specialty/Senior Specialty Representative acts as the primary customer contact andis responsible forimplementing marketingstrategyand promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to driveappropriate utilizationof the products.

Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs,schedulingand following up on medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through both in-person and virtual engagement.

Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including customizing discussions and customer interactions based on an understanding of customer needs, ensuring product access,resolvingor triaging reimbursement issues, andmaintainingproduct contracts.

Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze the business effectiveness of sales activities and territory performance, and develop territory plans in partnership with the District Manager.

Partner with other colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn and grow as a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative.

Demonstrate passion for Amgen's products and sustain that passion throughout the entire sales cycle, consistently building the brand while keeping patient impact at the forefront.

Basic Qualifications Specialty Representative:

Bachelor's Degree OR

Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR

High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Basic Qualifications Senior Specialty Representative:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experienceand/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales relatedOR

Associate degree and 6 years of sales experienceand/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales relatedOR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experienceand/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Preferred Qualifications:

Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry Product or hospital sales experience in the areas of oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology,hepatology,gastroenterologyor infectious diseases; and the diseases and treatments involved with these specialties

ABachelor'sdegree in Life Sciences or Business Administration

The expected annual salary range forSpecialty Representativein the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is$89,880 -$121,602.

The expected annual salary range forSenior Specialty Representativein the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is$115,949 -$156,872 .Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
