Job description

Title: Transfer Specialist - Reagent Manufacturing Operations

Location: Tucson, AZ 85755

Pay rate: $30-$32/hr on W2.


Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a Transfer Specialist – Reagent Manufacturing Operations to support the transfer of new tissue diagnostic assays and reagents from R&D into commercial manufacturing.
  • This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure products are introduced efficiently while meeting quality, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physiology, or related Life Sciences field.
  • 1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, laboratory, or GMP-regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and quality systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of Lean principles; Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Recent graduates with relevant lab or academic project experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support product and process transfers from R&D to Manufacturing.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities and project milestones.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality, and safety standards.
  • Assist with process improvements using Lean and basic statistical tools.
