Minimum Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
  • Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
  • Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
  • BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
  • Experience with MBSS
  • Experience with dysphagia
  • Experience with cognitive assessment and treatment
  • Experience with stroke rehabilitation
  • Active Georgia license


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 0800-1700
  • Weekend or on-call requirement: urgent evaluations for swallow or diet concerns, rarely
  • Unit setting: inpatient rehabilitation
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Equipment used: Vital Stim, Bioness, Pneuvest, BITS visual and cognitive program
  • Dress code: black scrubs
