Work Flexibility: Onsite
What You Will Do:
Join a driven, growing team in a fast-paced environment where engineering excellence matters. In this role you will support equipment in our R&D labs from procurement, installation, qualification and ongoing support. The testing activities these labs support vary from testing prototypes, testing products that are under development, testing completed products for device validation and supporting equipment that builds the prototype products.
  • Successfully contributes to project teams typically including the following activities: product design and development, fixture and equipment development including automation.
  • Works independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet project timelines.
  • Generates documentation, such as IQ, OQ, FAT, SAT, URS, IU, tooling specification and others.
  • Working knowledge of PLM, CN, EAM, CalWeb or similar systems
  • Supports capital equipment procurement, installation and documentation.
  • Participates with equipment troubleshooting and repair.
  • SME for all tools and test equipment in the R&D Labs.
  • Participates and supports internal and external audits within R&D.
  • Applies knowledge of mechanical, electrical and controls systems to procure and introduce equipment for prototyping and product evaluation.
  • Works cooperatively with R&D, Quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing to ensure project success.

What You Will Need:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Lab or process equipment experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical device industry experience
  • Automation experience
  • Electronic validation systems (ex. Valgenesis)
  • Electronic data management system (ex. PLM)
  • CAD experience

  • $81,600 - $136,000 USD Annual
