Job description

Title: Technician, Bioanalytical Services Location: Concord, OH Reports To: Associate Director, Bioanalytical Services Company Frontage Laboratories Inc. is an award winning, publicly listed, full-service CRO/Contract Research Organization operating over 25 state-of-the-art laboratories across the US, Canada, and China, growing significant YoY growth. Our core competencies include pre-clinical, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials. Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly collaborative Technician to support client-driven projects using advanced bioanalytical techniques. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for conducting sample preparation for biological samples in a bioanalytical chemistry laboratory and recording study results and observations. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Organize and conduct work assignments in a safe manner
  • Perform routine lab operations in a neat and clean organized manner: prepare reagents, weigh reference standards, and extract samples
  • Document results and accurately record observations in accordance with GLPs and SOPs
  • Perform data analysis and maintain study records
  • Recognize problems that impede completion of work according to study protocols
Education and Requirements:
  • B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related scientific discipline. Equivalent experience will be also considered.
  • Familiarity with a majority of sample preparation laboratory equipment
  • Basic math and chemistry skills to perform routine calculations
  • Strong attention to details
