We prevent and treat disease with vaccines, specialty and general medicines. We focus on the science of the immune system and the use of new platform and data technologies, investing in four core therapeutic areas (infectious diseases, HIV, respiratory/ immunology and oncology).ย

Our success absolutely depends on our people. While getting ahead of disease together is about our ambition for patients and shareholders, it's also about making GSK a place where people can thrive. We want GSK to be a place where people feel inspired, encouraged and challenged to be the best they can be. A place where they can be themselves - feeling welcome, valued, and included. Where they can keep growing and look after their wellbeing. So, if you share our ambition, join us at this exciting moment in our journey to get Ahead Together.

Department DescriptionThe GSK Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) organization is responsible for the delivery of key DMPK support (in vitro, pharmacokinetic, and bioanalytical) that helps drive early drug discovery programs. Within that structure, the Bioanalytical team is responsible for the quantitation of drug and drug related molecules in samples generated both in vitro and in vivo.ย Additionally, a key remit of the U.S. DMPK organization is the modernization and optimization of processes to allow for increased throughput and efficiency. A pivotal aspect of that remit is the expansion of DMPK assays by implementing new bioanalytical approaches. The support of these assays presents an opportunity for a student to learn and contribute via sample preparation, LC-MS/MS and SPE-MS/MS analysis, and data interpretation and tracking.ย
