Job description

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete batch plants.
The Billing Clerk supports billing operations by gathering tickets, reviewing data, and creating invoices for internal and external customers. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of documents while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Verify accuracy of billing data, including yardage and tonnage.
  • Coordinate with Division and Sales Managers to obtain billing approvals.
  • Create invoices and other necessary billing documents in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile customer payments to invoices and notate differences.
  • Maintain logs and files of delivery tickets and investigate discrepancies.
  • Supply copies of invoices and tickets upon request.
  • Perform general data entry.
  • Provide support to the supervisor and other billing clerks.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in billing or similar role preferred.
  • Proficient in 10-key and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
