The Billing Operations Support Specialist performs moderately complex administrative and billing tasks within the insurance brokerage business. This role works under regular guidance, applying acquired knowledge and skills to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. The specialist supports day-to-day billing operations, ensures compliance with established procedures, and communicates effectively with internal teams to resolve routine issues.Position Summary

The Billing Operations Support Specialist performs moderately complex administrative and billing tasks within the insurance brokerage business. This role works under regular guidance, applying acquired knowledge and skills to complete tasks accurately and efficiently. The specialist supports day-to-day billing operations, ensures compliance with established procedures, and communicates effectively with internal teams to resolve routine issues.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Process invoices, premium payments, and billing adjustments.
  • Verify billing data for accuracy and correct routine discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
  • Respond to internal inquiries and provide timely updates.
  • Assist in onboarding and provide informal guidance to B1 colleagues.
  • Follow established workflows and escalate non-standard issues.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of insurance billing practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with billing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
