This is an in-person role (not remote) & requires dental experience.

Position Overview
As a Dental Billing Specialist, you will be essential in managing our billing processes and providing friendly, accurate support to patients, providers, and team members. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that values high standards in patient service.

Responsibilities

  • Understand proper insurance claim guidelines for various insurance carriers and submit accurate dental claims and prior authorizations with all documentation required by the insurance companies.
  • Review claims/EOBs and follow-up with insurance companies on delayed, unpaid or denied claims.
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and clinic team members to resolve any billing questions.
  • Help patients understand account balances, and payment responsibilities.
  • Post insurance payments, patient payments, and account adjustments accurately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements.
  • Take ownership of assigned accounts and follow issues through resolution.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • Dental experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
