Primary Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
 
 
 
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Billing Coordinator for our premier client Menomonee Falls, WI.
 
 
 
Education and Experience
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience within an accounting department
  • Bachelor''s degree in accounting or related field
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Familiarity with freight shipping, invoicing, and related processes Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • 10-key by touch
  • Work with project management and sales teams to ensure accurate invoicing for direct contracts.
 
WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Role within Systems'' Finance group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Ensure accurate invoicing of customers for prior day shipments of parts, dock levelers, truck restraints, bumpers, lights and control boxes
  • Work with project management and sales teams to ensure accurate invoicing for direct contractsโ€ขReview freight costs for each shipment, calculate markup and invoice to customer on daily invoicesโ€ขWork with sales, tech service, customer service and credit department to resolve any billing discrepancies
  • aintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.โ€ขContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.Supervision Exercised (this section should be filled out when an employee has supervisory responsibilities)
 
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts receivables/ general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
