We’re currently seeking an experienced Dental Billing Specialist to join our administrative team and ensure smooth, accurate billing and insurance processes.

Position Overview:

As our Dental Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of patient billing and insurance claims. You’ll work closely with front office staff, dental providers, and insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate reimbursements, while providing excellent customer service to our patients regarding their accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and submit dental insurance claims and preauthorizations
  • Post insurance and patient payments accurately in the practice management software
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Generate and review aging reports
  • Generate and send patient statements
  • Respond to patient inquiries about billing and insurance in a friendly and clear manner
  • Stay updated on current dental coding and insurance guidelines
  • Maintain organized and accurate billing records
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure accurate documentation and coding
