Job description

The Bilingual Trainer Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering bilingual training programs, including creating production training courses, administering the Learning Management System, converting SOPs into computer-based training, and ensuring employees maintain standardized skill performance. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to translate verbally and accurately interpret technical written documents
  • Analyzes production training needs to identify skill gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develops and implements production training courses and structured learning paths tailored to operational goals.
  • Evaluates trainees to assess the effectiveness of training programs and to measure employee knowledge gains.
  • Follows up with employees post-training to ensure skill performance is standardized, retained, and consistently applied
  • Reports metrics and outcomes related to training needs, participation, and results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Converts Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and machine processes into progressive, computer-based training modules.
  • Develop and coach production floor trainers to reinforce learning through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic training methods.
  • Administers and maintains the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate tracking and accessibility of training records.
  • Monitors training procedures and course effectiveness, updating content and curricula as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Analyzes and develops a cross-training matrix to ensure sufficient training coverage across departments and processes.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality with respect to employee and company information.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.

Must be available to work a swing shift with flexible hours as required by production schedules.
Assists in the onboarding process of new hires to ensure smooth integration into the company.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to confer with team members about work in progress
  • Verbally articulate and has excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various knowledge levels and audiences
  • Knowledgeable in computer based course design

Physical Requirements
Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional light lifting (25 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties.
