Job description

We're working with a dynamic organization to add a Bilingual Operations Specialist to their support team in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who is highly responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling time-sensitive situations in a fast-paced environment.
This position will serve as a key point of contact for internal teams, assisting with a variety of operational, safety, and facility-related matters across multiple locations. While starting on a contract basis, the opportunity to be brought on in permeant capacity is definitely there depending on performance.
This role will sit onsite in downtown Columbus (parking provided) and hold an 8 hour shift between the hours of 2PM and 2AM. The departments operates 7 days a week but this role will only work 5 days a week (which will likely include at least one weekend day). This position requires someone bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming calls and emails related to day-to-day operations, urgent issues, and employee-related concerns
  • Support locations during incidents such as temporary closures, facility challenges, or other operational disruptions
  • Track and monitor cases through internal systems to ensure timely updates and resolution
  • Provide guidance to teams while partnering with internal departments to resolve issues efficiently
  • Escalate complex or high-risk concerns to appropriate teams when needed
  • Assist with updates to operational details such as hours, closures, or service interruptions
Qualifications:
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced support environment (call center, hospitality, retail, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple systems at once
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts scheduled between 2:00 PM - 2:00 AM
  • Coverage required 7 days per week, including holidays (schedule will include 5 days a week)
