Northwest Indiana Charter Schools is seeking a School Operations Associate. This is a 12 month position!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Scholar Relations

    Coordinates student transportation and communicates with familiesCommunicates with families (answer & makes calls)

Technology:

    Support IT team to maintain technology infrastructureInterfaces with technology firm to support staff and student technology.Manages copier vendor to ensure machines are functioning

Staff Relations

Fiscal Responsibilities

    Requests Quotes from vendorsCollects moneyAssist with filingPowerSchoolInventory of suppliesSend messages to parents/staffComplete clerical/administrative support duties including receiving and inventory of purchases.Communicates to families all school related eventsReceive & process cash & checks received

School Food

    Manages relationship with school food vendorCoordinates school food logisticsSubmit meal claimsMonitor kitchen and school food vendor to ensure program compliance

Human Resources:

    Assist in the preparation of offer letters, Employee Action Forms and separation letters and agreements.Maintain and confirm all updated documents are readily available and posted for all employees.Manage onboarding for new employees
