JOB TITLE: Janitorial Associate
DEPARTMENT: Industrial Operations
SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Janitorial Cleaning Manager
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None
JOB STATUS: PRN/Sub, Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Evening or Weekend Shifts
Summary:
Provide cleaning and grounds services to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors. This role includes routine janitorial duties, lawn care, and customer service responsibilities in public-facing spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Perform janitorial duties according to established schedules
โ€ข Clean and maintain restrooms, floors, windows, furniture, and common areas
โ€ข Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform ongoing spot cleaning
โ€ข Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal areas
โ€ข Clean drinking fountains and other high-touch surfaces
โ€ข Maintain outdoor areas, including litter pickup and general grounds upkeep
โ€ข Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, trimming, and minor pruning when applicable
โ€ข Operate cleaning and floor care equipment safely and effectively
โ€ข Greet visitors and respond to inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
โ€ข Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor
Qualifications & Skills:
โ€ข Ability to follow schedules and complete tasks independently
