**This position requires travel during scheduled shift**
Ciocca Cleaning & Restoration is looking for motivated individuals to join our professional cleaning team. Under the direction of a supervisor, this position is responsible for performing janitorial duties for commercial buildings located throughout the Fort Wayne and surrounding area. Quality customer service will be provided to the client at all times. Previous janitorial experience required and ability to perform proper cleaning techniques is essential.

Responsibilities of Janitorial Cleaning Specialist:

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors and stairs
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
  • Cleaning sinks, countertops in break rooms
  • Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
  • Emptying all trash cans and replacing liners, cleaning receptacles as necessary
  • Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered
  • Cleaning windowsills and vents
  • Maintaining janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
  • Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition
  • Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals
  • Maintaining cleanliness of any company used vehicles for travel
  • Training of other janitorial team members
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Must have acceptable driving record to meet company insurance requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation although a company vehicle may be made available for use during shift
  • Routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds
