What is a bilingual insurance professional?

Bilingual Insurance professionals are individuals who are proficient in two languages and work in the insurance industry to assist clients who prefer to communicate in their native language. Their main responsibilities include explaining insurance policies, processing claims, and providing customer service in both languages. This role is essential for insurance companies that serve diverse communities, helping bridge communication gaps and ensuring clients fully understand their coverage options. Bilingual Insurance professionals may work in various settings, such as agencies, call centers, or claims departments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a bilingual insurance agent?

To thrive as a Bilingual Insurance Agent, you need a solid understanding of insurance products, risk assessment, and fluency in two or more languages, often supported by relevant state licensure. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, insurance quoting tools, and electronic documentation systems is typical. Exceptional interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to build trust with diverse clients make someone stand out in this role. These skills and qualifications are essential to effectively serve a wider client base, ensure clear communication, and provide tailored insurance solutions.

How does being bilingual enhance collaboration within an insurance team and with clients?

Being bilingual in an insurance role significantly improves collaboration both internally and externally. Internally, bilingual team members often act as bridges between departments or colleagues who serve diverse client bases, facilitating clear communication and reducing misunderstandings. Externally, bilingual professionals can build stronger relationships with clients by addressing their needs in their preferred language, which increases trust and satisfaction. This skill often leads to more effective problem-solving, higher client retention, and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities or leadership roles within multicultural markets.

About Us

We are a fast-growing Allstate Insurance agency seeking motivated Bilingual Spanish/English Telemarketers. Our team helps clients protect their families and assets through auto, home, condo, and renters insurance.

This role is perfect for:

  • Experienced telemarketers or sales professionals

  • College students seeking part-time income

  • Stay-at-home moms looking for flexible work

Top performers may receive licensing assistance (not paid) and can grow into a licensed insurance agent role with long-term career growth.

Position Overview

As a Telemarketer, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Your job is to engage prospects, generate interest, qualify leads, and transfer qualified prospects to licensed agents.

This is a high-volume outbound calling role — 200+ calls/day — with no warm leads.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules, providing flexibility for students, stay-at-home parents, or anyone looking to supplement their income.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make 200+ outbound calls per day

  • Deliver professional scripts in English and Spanish

  • Build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively

  • Identify and qualify potential insurance leads for transfer to licensed agents

  • Accurately log all call activity and outcomes in CRM

  • Follow up with potential clients when appropriate

  • Collaborate with team members to optimize scripts and sales strategies

  • Maintain a professional, energetic, and persistent attitude

Expectations

  • High-volume calling: 200+ calls/day

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals

  • Represent our agency with professionalism and enthusiasm

  • Handle rejections positively and maintain persistence

  • Participate in team collaboration and training

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: Spanish & English (Required)

  • Telemarketing or call center experience preferred, but motivated college students and stay-at-home moms welcome

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and objection-handling skills

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and commission-driven

  • Reliable, consistent, and able to follow scripts and processes

Compensation

  • $15–$18 per hour + strong commission potential

  • Weekly and monthly performance bonuses

  • Opportunity to grow into a licensed agent role

  • Licensing assistance available for top performers (not paid licensing)

Schedule

  • Full-Time and Part-Time roles available

  • Monday–Friday

  • Flexible hours for part-time applicants, college students, and stay-at-home parents

Why Join Our Team?

  • Competitive hourly pay with high commission upside

  • Flexible scheduling ideal for students and stay-at-home parents

  • Scripts, training, and support provided

  • Career growth path to a licensed agent role

  • Supportive, fast-paced, high-energy team environment
