Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Austin, TX
Pay: $60,000-70,000/year + quarterly bonus potential
Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Addison Group is partnering with a growing organization in Austin, TX, to find a bilingual HR Generalist who is passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive workplace culture. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a well-rounded HR role that offers variety, ownership, and room for growth.
Job Description:
The HR Generalist will provide support across a variety of human resources functions, including employee relations, training, HR compliance, leave management, and data administration. This individual will serve as a resource to both employees and leadership, and will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience through policy support and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and employees to promote engagement and resolve workplace issues
  • Support compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies
  • Coordinate internal processes such as investigations, employee transfers, and exit procedures
  • Assist with planning and delivering employee trainings in collaboration with HR leadership
  • Manage and track leave of absence requests, including FMLA and company-specific leave programs
  • Help maintain up-to-date and accurate employee information within HR systems
  • Support company-wide employee events and recognition initiatives
  • Contribute to HR projects and participate in cross-functional planning efforts

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) - Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of human resources experience in a generalist or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Highly organized and capable of working independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
