The Role Full-Time Collector / Collections
Enagic Collector position at our headquarter branch location in Torrance, CA. Enagic is a Japan-based leading manufacturer of alkaline ionizers and water filtration machines. Enagic distributes its products through a network of independent contractor sales represents through a multilevel (network) marketing business model.
What YOU will be Responsible for:
Collect payments on past due bills. Create a list of people who have not made payments. Organize lists according to the severity of the delinquency. Locate customers using credit bureau information, loan documents, and other paperwork or databases.
  • Collection calls and/or correspondence to existing customers.
  • Resolve customer discrepancies etc.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Pleasant yet consistent and politely forceful on the phone
  • Skip-Tracing Experience/ Detail Oriented
  • Process Payments and data entry
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws applicable to collections
  • *** FDCPA (Federal Debt Collections Practices Act) ***
This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:
  • Knowledge/experience of billing and collections procedures
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • 1 to 2+ years collection experience
