About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bilingual Engineering Assistant to join our engineering project team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment and is interested in building a long-term career in engineering project coordination and project management.

As an Engineering Assistant, you will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. You'll gain handsโ€‘on experience working with contractors, suppliers, and crossโ€‘functional teams while developing a strong foundation in project execution, technical documentation, and engineering operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineers and project managers with dayโ€‘toโ€‘day project activities.
  • Coordinate project schedules, action items, and followโ€‘ups to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate with contractors, suppliers, vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Organize project meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, reports, and project records.
  • Review project documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Translate technical documents between Mandarin and English.
  • Provide interpretation support during meetings and project discussions.
  • Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and other projectโ€‘related documentation.
  • Track project progress and maintain accurate project records.
  • Support reporting, data entry, and document control.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance team efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Fluency in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailโ€‘oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
