Preconstruction Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Preconstruction Coordinator to join our growing Preconstruction Services team. This role will support both the Construction Estimator and the Preconstruction Project Manager in their efforts to manage bids and proposals efficiently. The Preconstruction Coordinator will be responsible for gathering and distributing information to subcontractors, collecting bids, and ensuring that all bids are qualified. The role also involves conducting site visits when necessary and coordinating various project details across multiple teams.


Key Responsibilities:

•Coordinate bid invitations and project information to subcontractors.

•Receive, track, and organize bids from subcontractors.

•Qualify bids and ensure all required documentation is submitted.

•Assist in the preparation of estimates and proposals.

•Support preconstruction activities by scheduling site visits, bid walks, and meetings as needed.

•Work closely with the Construction Estimator and Preconstruction APM to ensure all project details are properly managed.

•Maintain organized records of all bidding documents and correspondence.

•Facilitate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

•Assist with project budgeting and forecasting as required.


Qualifications:

•2+ years of experience in a coordinator or administrative role within construction or a related field.

•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

•Experience in handling detailed project documentation and bid management.

•Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology is preferred.

•Ability to visit job sites and attend meetings as needed.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

•Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
