Job description

Location: Novi Michigan Onsite 5 days

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Global Sales, this position will support a team of Global Account Managers. This is an Entry to Mid-experience role for a highly driven individual looking to build a career in Sales & Commercial within the Transportation segment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Contract Review and Pricing Analysis
  • Support and track new business quoting, financial reviews, and customer portal communication.
  • Process Spot-Buy orders with accuracy and timeliness
  • Communicate with customers and inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems
  • This position will support Key Account managers in the following areas
    • Customer material indexing
    • Customer tariff recovery
    • Pricing consolidation, monthly consolidation, pricing analysis
  • Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports
    • Competitor profiles
    • OEM financial requests
  • Travel to customer sites on occasion, less than 5%
  • Lead and support miscellaneous sales projects

Required Experience, Education, Skills, and Abilities for Consideration as a Candidate:

  • 2+ years of Automotive Customer service and/or sales experience (B2B)
  • Requires strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Bachelor's from 4-year University - Finance, Engineering or Economics degree preferred
  • Organized, detail oriented and team focused

  • Microsoft D365 Suite
  • Data tools (Power BI)
  • Industry specific software (Campfire)
