Job description

We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in Cumming and Dawsonville!

At HVC we invest in you and your career growth by conducting monthly lunch nโ€™ learns, reimbursing certification costs for any job required certifications as well as providing scrubs.

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, 401k, PTO, life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and holiday pay.

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends

Cumming: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Dawsonville: Wednesday, Friday

Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Full triage
  • Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
  • EKG's
  • Recording and updating patient information
  • Chart prep
  • Phlebotomy
  • Medication refills
  • Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.

Requirements:

  • Dependable team player is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)
