Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Director to lead and oversee the entire food and beverage operations at our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in refined dining, banquet management, and catering events. This role requires a strategic leader with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the highest standards of service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Staff Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of food and beverage managers, chefs, servers, and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high morale across all food and beverage outlets.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency.

2. Refined Dining Operations:

  • Manage all aspects of the refined dining experience, ensuring exceptional food quality, service, and presentation.
  • Develop and execute seasonal and innovative menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef and General Manager.
  • Develop and execute seasonal and innovative beverage program in collaboration with the Executive Chef and General Manager.
  • Oversee food and beverage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction by monitoring service standards and addressing guest feedback promptly.

3. Banquet & Catering Events:

  • Oversee banquet and catering operations for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other events, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to develop catering packages and pricing strategies that meet guest needs and maximize revenue.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service for large events, maintaining high-quality standards despite large guest numbers.

4. Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage food and beverage budgets, ensuring profitability through effective cost control, pricing strategies, and waste reduction.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on food and beverage performance, analyzing trends, costs, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and manage financial performance of the food and beverage department, ensuring budget adherence and driving revenue growth.

5. Guest Experience & Quality Control:

  • Create memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations while maintaining a refined atmosphere.
  • Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive outcomes.

6. Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with hotel management to align food and beverage offerings with the overall brand vision and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, and housekeeping to ensure smooth operations across the hotel.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, providing clear expectations and fostering a positive work environment

Qualifications
