Tri-County Technical College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach evening courses in the I-BEST (Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training) Manufacturing Pathway. This position provides instruction that integrates technical manufacturing content with foundational academic skills to support adult learners in achieving workforce and educational goals.
The Adjunct Instructor will deliver instruction aligned with college, state, and industry standards while supporting student success, retention, and completion in a collaborative, team-based teaching environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide evening instruction in manufacturing coursework using approved curriculum and industry-aligned competencies
  • Collaborate with I-BEST team members, including other key stakeholders, to deliver integrated instruction
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse adult learners
  • Incorporate instructional technology and maintain course materials within the college's learning management system (e.g., Blackboard)
  • Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback on student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, grades, and other required documentation in accordance with college policies
  • Support student engagement, retention, and completion through communication and referral to appropriate campus resources

Minimum and Additional Requirements
  • Associate degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Prior teaching or training experience, preferably in a technical or adult education setting
  • Knowledge of current manufacturing practices, safety standards, and workforce expectations
