Annapolis Junction Apply Adventure Technology Services  is a small IT contractor headquartered in Columbia, MD that provides high level solutions to Federal Government customers and are always looking for high quality professionals to join our team.  Position Title: Software Engineer- all levels Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Location: Annapolis Junction Description: The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off­ the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. (U) The Level 0 Software Engineer (SWE) shall possess the following capabilities: (U) Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements (U) Debug existing software and correct defects (U) Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards (U) Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features (U) Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments (U) Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Education & Related Experience:  * Level 0- Bachelors Degree with 0 years of experience  Level 1 - Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience or High School and 11 years of experience  Level 2 - Bachelors degree with 20 years of experience or High School and 24 years of experience  Salary Range:  Level 0- $75,000-$86,000 annually  Level 1 -$95,000-115,000 annually Level 2 -$172,000-$200,000 annually Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to: Knowledge, skills, & abilities                         Years of experience Education/Certifications                                Program placement Duties & responsibilities                                Internal equity  More detailed information will be provided once those factors are known and addressed. OVERTIME STATEMENT: 40 hours is the standard workweek. Some programs may allow additional hours to be worked as needed. A limited number of programs have on-call requirements where compensation is provided for being engaged to wait. In all circumstances, technical employees will be paid for all time worked. BONUS STATEMENT:
All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses that are based on the number of hours worked for that period. This hourly requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter. Quarterly Hours Bonuses are paid out on the same payroll as the time worked in that prior quarter (typically 21 days after the quarter ends.)
