Job description


SUMMARY 


Responsible for the administration and servicing of client and prospect accounts within Employee Benefits. Communicates with and establishes a solid relationship with clients, prospective clients and carriers while exhibiting superior customer service.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  


Exhibits proven competence in all Account Associate I duties and knowledge requirements.


Participates in new client planning meetings to establish implementation plan.


Assists with implementing TPA and BenAdmin systems, and completes renewals within those systems.


Meets with clients to review benefit administration guides, and to discuss customer service and billing procedures.


Works with carriers to create client Wrap Documents.


Supports servicing account team by acting as client-specific benefit plan expert.


Evaluates Health and Wellness programs and their impact on renewals.


Investigates claims issues and facilitates claims resolution with client, employees and carriers.


Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains
complete and accurate information).


Other duties as assigned.


Perform all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.

QUALIFICATIONS 
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 


Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 


Four (4) or more years related work experience


Valid Insurance License


Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal


Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor


SKILLS


Good verbal and written communication skills


Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills


Good problem solving and time management skills


Intermediate typing skills (30 - 35 wpm)


Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork


Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
