Miami Arts Charter School is seeking a passionate and creative Middle School Science Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. Founded in 2009, Miami Arts Charter School is located in the culturally rich Wynwood Arts District and serves students in grades 6–12 through a competitive audition and application process in the performing and fine arts. Our students are academically driven, artistically talented, and eager to grow—and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way. All instruction aligns with the Florida State Standards, and our educators are empowered to develop engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and strong literacy skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Teach Science aligned to Florida State Standards
  • Develop rigorous, engaging lessons

Qualifications:

  • State of Florida Teaching Certificate (Professional or Temporary) OR Statement of Eligibility preferred. Candidates without these will be assisted to apply for Eligibility before the start date.
  • Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
  • Strong classroom management and instructional delivery skills
  • Ability to inspire a love of reading and writing in diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
