Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Dayton Regional STEM School seeks an effective and creative Middle School Math teacher to join an existing school faculty and staff for the 2026-2027 school year. The curriculum will include collaboratively designed project-based learning units that connect to multiple disciplines and/or real-life issues.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree by August 1, 2026
• Teaching license or alternative license secured by August 1, 2026
• Outstanding communication and collaborative skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to integrate technology into the classroom
• Experience working with middle school students
• Master's degree or master's level coursework
• Project based teaching experience
Essential Functions and percent of time:
~Plan and deliver course instruction for middle school students - 75%
~Collaborate with other teachers to develop and refine content & materials for courses - 20%
~Participate in various meetings (including IEPs, conferences, etc.) and professional development opportunities - 5%
