Composite Sewing Technician

Fast forward to today, that dedication to quality and understanding of players' needs has turned Marucci into an All-American success story, the number one bat preferred by players and The Official Bat of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the creation of two types of finalized socks that are used in production to strengthen and uphold the integrity of the bat. This role includes sewing, stitching and assembling Kevlar socks together to create a finalized piece. You'll work with two types of sewing machines, ensuring that the product meets quality standards. Attention to detail, precision in stitching and ability to be organized are essential skills to this role. This role involves working with others to complete daily production and finishing goals within the week.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Operate sewing machines and other equipment to stitch and assemble baseball bat socks
  • Ensure quality and size of socks are fit for the upcoming day
  • Inspect product before and after and make necessary adjustments or repairs as needed
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies, ensuring timely re-ordering when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadline

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow patterns and task accurately
  • Ability to work at a constant pace and meet time guideline requirements
