Job description

Description

Now's the time to join the exciting Beer industry! Atlas Distributing Inc., whose market area covers central and western Massachusetts, has immediate full-time openings for Beer Merchandisers.

Support sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You'll be assigned a company identified vehicle and tasked with driving to/from designated liquor, grocery, and convenience stores to enhance product placement and image. You will ensure our accounts have the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and at the right price. Training provided.

BEER MERCHANDISER Responsibilities:

  • Maximize consumer interest and sales levels by strategically displaying ย ย ย ย ย products.
  • Implement layout plans for stores and maintain inventory on the ย ย ย ย ย shelves. ย 
  • Monitor stock movement and consider promotions, price changes, sales ย ย ย ย ย velocity, etc.
  • Build constructive customer relationships with channel partners.
  • Remain up to date with industry's best practices.

Requirements

BEER MERCHANDISER Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to perform physical work and repeatedly lift at up to 45 ย ย ย ย ย pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills.
  • HS diploma or GED required. College experience a ย ย ย ย ย plus.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license with clean ย ย ย ย ย driving record.
  • Secondary Language skills are a plus.
