Job description

Overview

Processing will involve use of a knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product or may involve the use of powered equipment such as saws, wizard knives or skinner machines. Work environment is cold and damp with temperature of less than 45 degrees. It is fast paced and physically demanding position.

Responsibilities
  • Stand entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platform
  • Lifting, pulling, pushing, or carry at least 50 lbs
  • Tolerate repetative motion using your hands/wrist/arm/torso and legs
  • Will be required to use the proper equipment to trim, debone, skin meat product.
  • Must be willing to work with sharp knives, some power equipment and / or saws
  • Ability to work in cold/damp indoor working conditions
Qualifications
  • Must wear all PPE - Safety is the main requirement
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Beef Processing experience a plus
