Job Responsibilities 

  • HVAC System Installation, Maintenance & Repairs - Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential homes 
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostics - Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC issues, including heating/cooling malfunctions, air quality issues, and system inefficiencies 
  • Preventative Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning systems, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality 
  • Customer Interaction - Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and the overall status of their HVAC systems 
  • System Efficiency - Recommend products and services to customers that will optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency 
  • Read & Interpret Technical Diagrams - Review blueprints and technical diagrams to install or troubleshoot HVAC systems properly 
  • Code Compliance - Ensure all work follows national and local building codes and regulations for HVAC systems 
  • Record Keeping - Use Service Titan software to track repairs, maintenance, and service calls, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation 
  • Safety Compliance - Follow all safety protocols and ensure HVAC systems are functioning safely in accordance with industry standards 
  • Customer Service - Provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail and a professional attitude 

Qualifications 

  • Experience - 3+ years of experience as an HVAC service technician or a similar role 
  • Certifications - HVAC certification or equivalent experience from a technical/trade school is preferred 
  • Technical Expertise - Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and air quality equipment 
  • Service Software - Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus 
  • Communication Skills - Strong communication skills to explain HVAC issues and solutions clearly to customers 
  • Attention to Detail - Ability to perform accurate work while adhering to all codes and regulations 
  • Customer-Focused - A commitment to delivering exceptional service with a positive attitude 
  • Driver's License - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
