Job Overview
Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an optimistic, committed and motivated individual who is interested in learning about our maintenance and technician operations. During your internship you will play a vital role in supporting our maintenance team and contributing to projects that drive operational excellence.
We offer hands-on experience to ensure you receive the maximum knowledge while shadowing a current full time maintenance mechanic or technician.
Duties / Responsibilities
The Maintenance Internship responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing issues with machinery
  • Assist with reading and understanding equipment user manual
  • Assist with filling out work orders
  • Assist with preventative maintenance
  • Assist with daily inspection of production equipment and repair diagnosis when applicable
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Understand basic electrical control circuits, PLC applications and electrical schematic diagrams
  • Able to use hand tools, power tool, and computer based
  • Able to work with grease, oils, and able to adjust and calibrate equipment
  • Knowledge of basic fabrication

Physical
  • Must be able to quickly move your hands, arms, or grasp to manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Must be able to think rationally and apply logic during high stress situations.
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol.
  • Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy environment.
  • Must be able to climb, lift, bend, and stoop regularly.
  • Must be able to move or lift 20 lbs. or more.
