MUST BE LICENSED IN THE STATE OF CT!

E2 or E1 - JOURNEYMAN OR MASTER ELECTRICAL LICENSE

Alternative schedules available:

  • Four 10 hour shifts a week 
  • Tuesday - Saturday
  • Wednesday - Sunday
  • 11am - 8pm, 12pm - 9pm
  • Nights & Weekends, etc.

Job Responsibilities

  • Electrical System Installation – Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in residential properties
    • Electrical Maintenance – Perform general electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical issues
    • Technical Diagnostics & Repairs – Inspect, diagnose, and replace faulty electrical equipment, wiring, or fixtures, ensuring the proper operation of all electrical systems
    • Circuit Breakers & Transformers – Inspect and perform corrective maintenance on circuit breakers and transformers to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently
    • Blueprint Reading – Read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints to accurately install or repair electrical systems
    • Code Compliance – Ensure all electrical work complies with national electrical codes and state and local building regulations
    • Customer Engagement – Engage with customers, explaining the issues, solutions, and outcomes clearly, while recommending additional products and services for optimal system performance
    • Service Titan Software – Track repairs, maintenance, and service calls through Service Titan software, ensuring detailed and accurate documentation
    • Safety Standards – Follow safety protocols to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, protecting both the customer and team members

Qualifications

  • Experience – 3+ years of experience as a Residential Electrical Service Technician or a similar role
    • Licensing – Valid electrical license, if required by state or local regulations
    • Technical Expertise – Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components, with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues
    • Service Software – Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
    • Attention to Detail – Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with electrical codes
    • Customer-Focused – Strong communication skills to explain electrical issues and solutions clearly to customers
    • Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
    • Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to electrical installations and repairs
