Bechtel is delivering the infrastructure, technologies, and fuels to sustainably meet the world’s increasing energy demand. On the US Gulf Coast, we are currently delivering four mega LNG Projects – Corpus Christi Liquefaction, Louisiana LNG, Port Arthur LNG, and Rio Grande LNG.

Job Summary:

Project Location: Brownsville, TX

Pay Range: $32.50

Responsibilities:

  • Reads and interprets blueprints, schematic drawings, and layout plans to coordinate work activities and ensure accurate installation.
  • Supervises and directs daily crew activities to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Coordinates installation, dismantling, alignment, and assembly of machinery and industrial equipment.
  • Oversees rigging, lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and equipment during installation activities.
  • Ensures proper use of hand tools, power tools, lasers, alignment tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Verifies equipment is installed according to specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Coordinates epoxy grout activities and ensures proper installation procedures are followed.
  • Plans and assigns manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to support daily work execution.
  • Monitors crew performance, work progress, and productivity to support project schedules.
  • Leads safety meetings, pre-task planning, and ensures adherence to all site safety procedures and confined space requirements.
  • Communicates with superintendents, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve field issues and maintain workflow coordination.
  • Ensures proper housekeeping, maintenance, and care of tools and equipment.
  • Assists with material tracking, inspections, and quality control documentation.
  • Coaches and mentors craft professionals while promoting teamwork and accountability.
  • Maintains accurate daily reports, manpower tracking, and progress updates.
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and reinforces company standards and expectations.
  • Typically requires extensive industrial construction experience with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
