Bechtel is delivering the infrastructure, technologies, and fuels to sustainably meet the world’s increasing energy demand. On the US Gulf Coast, we are currently delivering four mega LNG Projects – Corpus Christi Liquefaction, Louisiana LNG, Port Arthur LNG, and Rio Grande LNG.

Job Summary:

Project Location: Sulphur, LA

Pay Range: $18.00 - $23.00 / per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Flexible work hours: We’re proud to offer this role as part of our Flexible Work Hour Program, created to support Louisiana LNG Craft Professionals who balance work with caregiving responsibilities. Several flexible schedules offer between 29.5 and 45.5 hours per week forc aregivers who meet the program’s requirements and provide proof of eligibility. Take advantage of this opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Must have valid driver’s license (may require CDL with Hazmat).
  • Maintains appropriate company records to document equipment maintenance, service and repair using electronic mobile devices (i.e. work orders completed on iPad).
  • Working outside in all weather conditions.
  • Work area and equipment housekeeping.
  • Operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects and repair all types of construction equipment.
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance on heavy construction equipment in a field environment (i.e. lubrication and replacement of brakes, belts, hoses, filters, fluids, and engine tune-up).
  • Dismantles and reassembles systems on heavy construction equipment.
  • Identify excessive damage or wear on equipment.
  • Replaces defective engines and subassemblies.
  • Tests and inspects overhauled equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Pushes and/or pulls tool boxes to position them while working on equipment.
  • Loads, transports, unloads materials, tools, equipment and suppliers.
  • Assists in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
  • Performs maintenance or cleaning activities on tools and equipment.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures.
  • Typically requires 48 months of industrial construction experience.
