About Beaumont Children's Center

Pediatric care clinic with special needs and their families will be supported throughout their unique life journey.

Scope of Work

The Behavior Technician will report to the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and Board-Certified assistant Behavior Analyst at Beaumont's Center for Exceptional Families. The Behavior Technician shall be responsible for implementing behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred experience in childcare or work with children with special needs, mental health related experience or education, interest or class work in Allied Health Degrees.
  • Candidate must be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Basic understanding of principals of behavior analysis
  • Exposure to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
  • Ability to model intervention for trainees and patients' family members
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to collect data
  • Basic Life Support Required
