Job description

Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Primary Care / Internal Medicine

Be Well Primary Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Primary Care and Internal Medicine team. This role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff in a supportive practice environment.

Providers will deliver comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, managing both acute and chronic conditions. Applicants may apply for their preferred clinic location based on availability.

Clinic Locations

Be Well Primary Care currently operates clinics in the following locations:

  • Alliance
  • Azle
  • Bridgeport
  • Denton
  • Keller

We are also expanding and plan to open additional locations in Saginaw and Argyle in the coming months. Candidates may indicate their preferred clinic location when applying. This position does not require routine travel between locations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients
  • Coordinate and facilitate referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervising or collaborating physicians regarding patient care
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical documentation in the electronic health record
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Active Texas licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Previous experience in primary care, internal medicine, or a related clinical setting preferred
  • Ability to build strong rapport and maintain effective relationships with patients
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
