JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Representative (BDR) identifies and researches potential clients and new market opportunities. As a market penetration specialist, the BDR will engage prospective clients through various channels, develop strong relationships, and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. The BDR works within an assigned territory and collaborates with the Higher Logic team to influence client strategy and drive growth. Preferably looking for candidates local to the Arlington, VA area to come into the office 2-3 days a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and research potential clients and new market opportunities.
  • Contact prospective clients through various channels (cold calling, emailing, social media, networking).
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Assess and prioritize potential clients based on their needs and readiness to engage.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure the company's goals and targets are met.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, opportunities, and results to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective clients in the CRM system.
  • Continuously seek feedback and improve sales techniques and approaches.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct all business following Higher Logic values, policies, and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
