Santa Margarita Ford is currently seeking a full-time BDC Service Appointment Coordinator who is comfortable assisting guests over the phone or online to coordinate their vehicle service needs. This is an entry level position for anyone looking to start a career in the automotive business. JOB DUTIES:ย 

  • Making outbound phone callsย ย 
  • Receiving inbound phone callsย ย 
  • Setting service appointmentsย ย 
  • Setting Mobile Service appointments and priority pick up appointmentsย 
  • Service remindersย ย 
  • Survey follow-upย ย 
  • Service shuttle coordinationย ย 
  • Ask customers qualifying questions to uncover needs and directs calls appropriatelyย ย ย 
  • Establish relationships with the customers and follow through on commitments madeย ย 
  • Ensure Service Advisors receive messages promptly and ensure follow up is promptย  ย 
  • Participate in team and process development- keeping positive relationships with the service team and dealership departments to reduce conflict and maximize dealer profitabilityย ย ย ย 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:ย While no experience is necessary, an ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and have a positive, can-do attitude. Other requirements include:ย 

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • General familiarity with a variety of automobiles.
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years and clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug test.
  • Must be willing to work as part of a team.
  • Must have basic computer and phone skills.
