Job description

This is contingent upon award. A secret security clearance is required. 

The location is OCONUS (Iraq) and travel is required.

Provides installation, fielding, maintenance, sustainment, and technical support for BCC systems deployed throughout military environments. This position supports the operational readiness of biometric collection systems by performing installation, troubleshooting, repairs, user training, and data management activities in accordance with Army fielding and sustainment processes.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure BCC devices at military installations and operational locations, including both mobile and static systems.
  • Support Army Total Package Fielding (TPF) activities, including New Equipment Fielding (NEF), New Equipment Training (NET), Platform Integration (PI), and Technical Field Support.
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on biometric hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance and operational availability.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to users and stakeholders, resolving system issues and ensuring effective operation of BCC equipment.
  • Conduct user training on the operation, maintenance, and proper use of biometric collection devices and associated software applications.
  • Assist with the collection, processing, and management of biometric data while ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of system installations, maintenance actions, repairs, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Support system testing, verification, and operational readiness activities as required.
  • Coordinate with government personnel, field technicians, and program stakeholders to support deployment and sustainment efforts.
  • Travel to military installations and field locations as required to perform installation, maintenance, training, and technical support activities.
  • Adhere to the company's AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Army Total Package Fielding (TPF) processes, including NEF, NET, PI, and Technical Field Support.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency with Android and Windows operating systems and data entry applications.
  • Knowledge of databases, networking concepts, and system connectivity.
  • Familiarity with biometric technologies, including fingerprint, iris, facial, and voice modalities.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in both garrison and field environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting BCC systems or other military biometric collection platforms.
  • Experience providing field support and technical training in military environments.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and standards governing biometric data collection and management.
  • Ability to travel frequently in support of CONUS and OCONUS operations.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline or two (2) additional years of relevant experience.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience providing technical support.
