Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School Setting

Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/week | 39-Week Contract Start Date: September 2, 2026 Pay Rate: $80/hr (Local)

Position Overview

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral consultation, training, assessment, and intervention services within a school environment. This role supports students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs by developing and implementing evidence-based behavior intervention plans. The BCBA also serves as a clinical educator, offering guidance, observation, and supervision to school staff to ensure high-quality behavioral service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Behavioral Assessment — Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.

  • Consultation & Training — Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams.

  • Program Development — Design and oversee behavior analytic programs tailored to student needs.

  • Clinical Oversight — Observe, assess, and supervise behavioral service delivery.

  • Documentation — Maintain accurate records in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

  • Collaboration — Work closely with educators, administrators, and related service providers.

Minimum Requirements
  • Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field

  • WA State BCBA license (required)

  • Experience providing behavior analytic services in school settings (preferred)

  • Minimum one year of pediatric experience (preferred)

  • CPR certification (if applicable)

  • TB screening and health certificate per state/contract requirements

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must obtain CPI certification within first 30 days of assignment

Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $80/hr (Local)
