As it continues to grow, BBA is looking for a project manager who must be familiar with a consulting engineering environment and help meet the needs of a growing number of clients. We are seeking a motivated and rigorous individual to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of engineering consulting projects, working closely with senior project leadership and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and strong client satisfaction. This position is well suited for a Project Manager with prior consulting or project delivery experience who is looking to take on increasing responsibility while continuing to develop their technical, commercial, and leadership skills. Summary of certifications and job requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing preliminary project studies (Audits, Conceptual, PFS, FS)
  • Experience managing medium to large EPCM projects in the mining or heavy industry sectors
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and project control, procurement and construction management teams
  • In-depth knowledge of the modern project management methodology
  • Efficient time management and decision-making skills
  • Ability to maintain collaborative relationships with personnel, clients and suppliers• Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication (English)
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Primavera knowledge is an asset)
  • Asset: Experience managing mining sites and processing plants
  • Asset: Experience with brownfield site context
  • Asset: Professional licensure in Nevada
  • Asset: Additional certifications (PMP)
