Position Details: 

  • Location: St. Josephs Hospital, 3001 W Doctor Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607
  • Status: Fulltime
  • Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • On Call: No

Summary:

The Ambulatory Operating Room RN responsibilities include: 

  • RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards 
  • RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team 
  • RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization 
  • RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

 This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For this position, we strongly prefer at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room. Experience with pediatric case types a strong plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Specific Skills: 

  • Clinical skills appropriate to position 
  • Interpersonal skills 

Certifications and Licensures: 

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) 
  • RN (Registered Nurse) 
  • ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department 
  • Preferred Nurse Specialty 

Education: 

  • Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing 
  • Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
