Function:
The Blast Entry and SafetyAttendant is a front-line team member assigned exclusively to the BavarianBlast indoor waterpark at the Bavarian Inn Lodge.
This position plays a keyrole in ensuring a safe and welcoming entry process for all guests.Responsibilities include screening guest bags for prohibited items-such asoutside food, beverages, glass, and weapons-and issuing wristbands based onheight measurements.
Attendants also staff the safety desk, where they answerguest questions, provide general information, and offer basic assistance, including minor first-aid supplies. This position supports the daily operations of thewaterpark and works closely with the Aquatics Management team to uphold parkguidelines and deliver friendly, guest-focused service.
Compensation Package: Includes but is not limited to: Free Bavarian Blast WaterPark access, Employee Discounts for dining and retail across all Bavarian InnInc. locations, employee paid dental, vision, life insurance, free lunchesduring shift, referral program up to $500 per person referred, and EmployeeAssistance Program.
Hours/Shift Expectation:
Part Time: 7-20 hours per week - 1-4 Days a week. Must be available to work a variety of shifts.: 9:45 am to 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 pm to 9:45pm. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings, and some holidays.
Job Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age.
Shifts vary based on operational needs.
Must be available weekends and holidays.
Private events may require overnight assignments.
Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Customer service or hospitality experience is a plus
A safety or security background is helpful but not required
CPR and First Aid certified preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Able to stand for extended periods and walk in the waterpark
Able to lift to 25 pounds
Comfortable working in hot or humid environments
Professional appearance and demeanor
Friendly, proactive attitude
Able to remain calm under pressure or in busy settings
