Job description

Production Technician (Battery Dept)

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our client's aerospace manufacturing team. This role focuses on the assembly and quality inspection of custom battery systems for military and commercial aircraft.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Base Pay: $20.00 – $22.50 / hour + 10% shift differential
  • Standard Hours: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electromechanical assembly, including soldering and component placement.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) to build products to specification.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to streamline production and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support quality standards and continuous improvement programs (Lean/Six Sigma).

Requirements

  • Experience: 6 months of soldering or electromechanical assembly experience (or completion of a soldering training class). On-the-job training may be substituted for the right candidate.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use standard hand tools and read technical drawings.
  • Physical: Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs and perform manual dexterity tasks.
